The course fee of $95 is fully covered by grant funding and there is no cost to your agency.
This one-day course was created and presented in partnership with the dedicated staff from Out Boulder County, the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. The morning session includes:
- Data Driven Policing & Building Community Partnerships
- Colorado Revised Statute Review
- The Impact of Hate Crimes
The afternoon session includes case studies of real criminal investigations within Jefferson, Boulder, and Gilpin counties. Groups will be assigned a specific case to study, analyze, and then present case & crime summaries.
This is a great course for patrol officers or detectives looking to increase their knowledge about these types of crimes and the work needed to build and present a case to the DA's office.
